The Taco High Velocity Series 0011 Cartridge Circulator is specifically designed for high-head/medium-flow applications in large residential/light commercial closed-loop hydronic heating and chilled water cooling systems. Exclusive, anti condensate baffle (ACB) protects motor windings on chilled water jobs. Available in cast iron or bronze construction. Bronze can be used on open-loop systems. Unique, replaceable cartridge contains all of the moving parts so you can service it easily instead of replacing the entire unit. Universal flange-to-flange dimensions and orientation allow the 0011 to easily replace other models.

I would not buy this product again.
The Taco Circulator pump is of very low quality. It is the 3rd Taco pump I have bought in 4 years and same problem each time . Pin holes develop in the flange which then leaks. Will never buy another Taco Pump ( product) again.

The Taco Circulator pump is of very low quality. It is the 3rd Taco pump I have bought in 4 years and same problem each time . Pin holes develop in the flange which then leaks. Will never buy another Taco Pump ( product) again.

Q: is this a multi speed or single speed pump? the pump is running but its moving water at a very low gpm, is this an indication that the cartrige needs replacement?

Q: I have an apartment complex that is 8 units. 4 on the bottom and 4 on the top.I have about 10 feet of head pressure. would the 1/8 hp 009 or 0011 be best

In order to make the best decision, however, you will also need to look at the flow of your system (gallons per minute). Q: The cart. keep falling on this type of pump. I have this pump mounted on a wood boiler running 160deg.water about 350' away from home, 1" buried insulated Pex. (supply/return). Open system, and running 24/7, also circulating thru several infloor 1/2" pex. pipe zones. Does a fair job in heating, runs about 6 to 8 LBS in pressure at home manifold, about approx. 8 to 10 ft. head. Does this need to be a bronze or stainless pump application?
