The redesigned 008-IFC features a larger removable Integral Flow Check, designed to improve pump performance, simplify piping and reduce installation costs. The spring loaded IFC replaces a separate in-line flow check to ensure protection against reverse flow and gravity flow. The low pressure drop of the IFC increases flow performance vs. in-line flow checks. Both the IFC and the cartridge are easily accessed for removal and service.

SWEET LITTLE PUMP!
This is a sweet little pump!
We had to replace the pump on our potable hot water loop because a lazy contractor replaced our bronze potable hot water pump with a cast iron one. This in-turn filled our potable water system with rust (YUCK) and ruined our annual State EPA mandated water tests creating violations with our facility water system.
The TACO 008 was just the answer, besides being all stainless steel, the motor and the impeller consist of a cartridge system, so when it goes bad you just buy a replacement cartridge & 4 screws later your back in business.
This thing runs so smooth you have to feel the motor to know if its running.
