WiFi Thermostat - One Stage Heat

Easy to install and set up.

They work very well for us. I would love to see some app improvements. Mostly the ability to change multiple settings without having to open each thermostat individually. Also more data collection and maybe some analysis.

A client purchased a home in which the crawl space below an addition had series of fin tube baseboard elements. I believe the idea was to heat the crawl space to 90 plus degrees and let that warmth heat the floor, which would heat the living space above. Using this thermostat, I was able to install the Tekmar 084 air sensor in the crawl space and keep the thermostat in the living space. This way the crawl space tempature was displayed as the "floor" temp and of course the living room temp was shown using the built-in air sensor of the thermostat. The system now workes flawlessly as I set an upper limit to the "floor" temp so as to not over heat the crawl space all while still able to regulate a percise tempature within the living space above. The thermostat is very pleasing to look at, clean, and simple to navigate.

Nice stat. However the installation instructions are very poorly written. The electrical diagram is not clear as to what function connects to what terminal on both the stat side and the heat source side. The WiFi set up instructions are not clear either. The instructions are a head scratcher. I am a licensed WA State HVAC 06A electrician since 1999.

It's pretty remarkable what a good job these do of adapting to a room's characteristics and keeping even temperature.

I have installed 6 of those thermostats in my house. It's about 5 years and they are dying out one after the other.

Good temperature control for both room and floor, phone app is pretty good, not perfect, easy install. Can't complete all config via app, must use thermostat for some settings. Biggest issue I have is that after a power outage reconnecting to wi-fi is hit and miss. I have three thermostats and generally one of them does not connect, which is a problem when you live four hours drive from cabin. Means at least one zone can't be brought back up to temp when I visit. The fix for me may be to put an Alexa controlled socket so I can remote reboot the system until all thermostats are connected to wi-fi.

the screen is nice and big and easy to read. would be a good idea to have a dim option since its always bright. menu is easy to use and set things but i wish it would go back to like the home screen with the outdoor and indoor temps but it always stays on floor temp. mine is in kitchen and would be nice to look at it and see all the temps. yes i would buy again but with that said this is the only option for wifi for tekmar

We spend much time out of state. Having the house warm when we arrive is great!

Am using two of these thermostats for hydronic in floor heat. Needed them to be - > WIFI capable > support in floor heat sensor > name brand very reliable These work great.
