The thing is the cat's meow!!
Had to replace leaking circulator pump gaskets on my old hydronic heating system. There were no isolation valves on either side of the pump, so i had to drain the whole system. Also, there was no way to purge the air from the system after refilling other than using the small bleeder valves located by the radiators in each zone. I was initially going to attempt the Rube Goldberg approach by using separate tees and valves to effectively fill and purge the system after making the pump repairs, but fortunately found this all-in-one valve made by Webstone at Supply House. Not even some of the other plumbing houses even carried such a valve or knew it existed. Once repaired and with the Webstone valve installed the fill and purge process for the entire hydronic system took less than 1/2 hour. I saved quite a bit by not having to purchase all the separate hardware and the installing time was far less. Great Product!!
