Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffIf there is a flashing snowflake beneath the set temperature (the number on the right side of the display), it means that the compressor is in lockout mode.

Q: Can this thermostat be hard wired? The battiers are for the display?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffClipping the W904 jumper on the circuit board switches to Celsius operation. Removing the clip should take the unit back to Fahrenheit. Q: Will this thermostat work properly on a concrete floor hydronic system such that the thermostat needs to remain on for several hours while the floor's temperature slowly rises? It is undesirable for the thermostat to "time out" and shut the water heater off/on frequently.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThis thermostat only monitors room air temperature. You likely need something that is compatible with a slab sensor, such as the Tekmar 509.
