The ProLine 40-Gallon Atmospheric Vent Short Natural Gas Water Heater is designed to deliver an economical performance that can lower your energy bills and also provide long-lasting value.
Featuring a 40-gallon (nominal) tank and a 40,000 BTU gas burner, the GCRL-40 Standard Vent delivers a first hour rating of 67 gallons and a recovery rate of 41 gallons per hour. It carries a 6-year limited tank warranty, and meets Low NOx emission requirements.
Environmentally-friendly insulation and factory-installed heat trap nipples reduce heat loss for maximum energy savings.
This ProLine water heater is designed with A. O. Smith's superior commercial-grade tank protection. Advanced tank features include stainless steel CoreGard anode rod, Blue Diamond glass lining and DynaClean automatic sediment-cleaning system, all designed to help protect the tank from the corrosive effects of water and extend the life of the water heater.

Good Product but not free delivery
The product is great. But don't get fooled by free delivery. The driver would not deliver to the residence and I had to take time from work and meet him in the different location. I wish that was explained upon purchase.

New A O Smith gas water heater to replace a 20 year old one
Our original AOSmith lasted 20 years! I flushed it about every 2-3 years.
Old one was not leaking; just took longer to heat and did not keep hot.
