Needed a replacement water heater so I did some research and decided on the AO Smith. SH.com had the most competitive price. Delivery arrived via LTL freight truck on a pellet and wheeled into the garage. Installation was easier than normal as this was a direct swap out of my 13 yr old WH. This provides the hottest, longest shower I've ever been able to take and couldn't imagine a smoother process. Thanks

The hot water heater is performing well.
I was told to be home on the planned delivery date and it was not delivered. The next day, a full size semi truck showed up and dropped off the hot water heater 1000 feet from my home. I'm a 57 year old female. I would not have ordered this item had I known it would not be delivered to my home.

We highly recommend this water heater!
Our old AO Smith ProLine Power Vent Water Heaters finally gave out after working great for 17 years. We replaced it with this New Model 2 weeks ago. It arrived in perfect condition and quickly, just five days after I ordered it. So far it's just as great as our first one, even a bit better. We never run out of hot water now! I can fill up my oversized Soaker Tub and still have plenty of hot water left. My husband and I can take back to back long showers and not run out either. We would definitely purchase it again!

I would buy this product again but maybe not from here
First problem I had to pick it up myself they didn't request a lift gate and it would take almost a week before they were in my area with a lift gate second problem it had dents all over the heater sent them pictures they said it was fine and you shouldn't have any problems but still it was damaged didn't offer any money off either return it or install it that's there fix

Working great!
Buying from Supply House saved me a tremendous amount of money compared to what I would have had to pay a local plumbing contractor to actually provide the heater rather than just install it. Shipping time was very reasonable and heater well protected during shipping and delivery.

Quality water heater reasonably priced!
I replaced my 17 year old, 65 Gallon Bradford White with this AO Smith and so far it seems to be a quality product that should last. SupplyHouse made it easy to buy at a reasonable price, it got delayed by a couple of days but that's okay as the delivery experience made up for it.

I would definitely use Supply House again.
I was VERY apprehensive about ordering a hot water tank online. But the Supply House folks walked me through the whole process. The delivery was 1st rate. The truck driver used his pallet jack and wheeled the tank into my garage. We unpacked it together, and did a complete inspection. No issues!

SupplyHouse & Product is GREAT... Shipping is questionable.
SupplyHouse has some of the best prices on the interwebz when it comes to hot water heaters. They definitely came in significantly cheaper than local plumbing supply businesses in my area even with business account discounts.
The AO Smith natural gas hot water heater is built great, installed easy and works perfectly upon first initial use.
The only thing I would say to watch out for is your timeline. My first unit came in damaged and so I refused acceptance. SupplyHouse was able to send out a second one that came in undamaged. This did cause a delay in the project and since the shipping is a third party company, I can't blame SH. Their customer service was great dealing with the replacement. They made is very easy for me.

Great Product
Well Built, heavier than it looks but was a great replacement for the original Liquid Propane water heater. I like the placement of the drain, & relief value - the unit sits in a closet in the Garage and makes it hard to get to the drain if it were anywhere else. The only note I would like to relay is when turning it on for the first time is to set the temperature dial to the desired setting before turning it on. I made the mistake of turning it on first then moving the dial and the exhaust fan ran constantly and the fire went out with no error state. I turned it off and waited 10 minutes, then set the dial and turn it on - it has worked like a charm ever since - start with the lowest setting first, it gets really hot and that should be hot enough.

Q: What is the noise level of this WH. It would be installed in a closet with a bedroom party wall. Power vents I have had installed tend to be noisy.

Verified Reply- Supplyhouse.com TeamAO Smith states: All power vented water heaters generate a certain amount of operational noise. In order to minimize noise transmission to the support structure, use isolation pads between the pipe hangers and the vent pipe. They give no specific information on the noise level directly besides this.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffPower vented units use the air from the room for combustion. The exhaust is vented through a fan up into the vent pipe that exits either through the roof or side wall.
