No, there are no conversions to LP, only from LP to NG.
This water heater has an energy factor of .59 . A water heater's energy efficiency is determined by the energy factor (EF), which is based on the amount of hot water produced per unit of fuel consumed over a typical day. The higher the energy factor, the more efficient the water heater.
Yes we offer three 30 gallon propane water heaters: The GVR-30-LP . the M-I-MS30T6LX , and the M-I-MH30T6FLX. These units can be found by placing the model number into the search bar on the top of the webpage.
The 4 at the end of the model number is an engineering series number. It is used internally by Bradford White and does not signify any differences on the unit itself.
I don't see much if any change at all. I have attached the Spec sheet but just in case it doesn't get to you, here is the link to the same Specification sheet _http://www.bradfordwhite.com/sites/default/files/product_literature/101-B_ICON.pdf. Hope it helps to answer your question.
Yes, please refer to the information at the link below. http://www.bradfordwhite.com/find-your-model-and-serial-number
The anode rod can be replaced by unthreading it at the top of the water heater, puling it out, and replacing it with a new one. This may be difficult if the top of the water heater is close to a ceiling. You can also try to flush the tank with chlorine to eliminate the odor.
According to the manufacturer, the drain valve towards the bottom of the tank allows you to open and close it with a flat head screw driver. If there is not room to place a bucket under the valve a hose can be threaded onto it and placed into a bucket. Be cautious of the hot temperature of the water!
It does not. Please refer to the link below for a full list of Bradford White's Energy Star water heaters. http://www.bradfordwhite.com/hb_energystar.asp
This water heater works very well for me. It does not make any noise and we always have hot water. It seems to be very efficient and I would recommend this unit to another customer. Also I felt the price was very good.
It's not labeled as Energy Star...so I would assume it is not. But then again, I'm not the pro.
apparently not here in florida, teco gas, the supplier, requires .63 or higher for this rebate authorization however the regular rebate or $350 does apply versus $400
Although this unit has a 6-year warranty, it can operate for up to 15 or 20 years. We see no reason to replace it unless you are having problems with the water heater.
