I would definitely buy this product again.
Installation was simply. Everything hooked up nicely. It was a new build, so I had to install a couple to 2 x 6 but that is common.

Great fan, does the job
I use this to vent a space where there are smokers. I had a simple bathroom fan but just did not move the air. Put this in. Had to configure things to make the extra height work and could only vent with a 6inch pipe due to ceiling heights.
It works, does not make excessive sound. And even with the 6 inch pipe moves the air quite nice. It is only about a 5 foot run to the outside so not much back pressure.
Long term will have to see how the fan holds up once the cigarette smoke starts depositing tar on the fan blades.

Broan 300 Fan
I purchased this fan to put in my 2 car garage to remove fumes and smoke. This fan definitely works well. The biggest thing is how quiet it is. If you installed this in a bathroom it would work extremely well. I could of went up in cfm for the size of my space but I don't have any regrets.

Powerful and Quiet!
After much research I decided on the L300 based on the low Sones and respectable amount of CFMs. It's purpose is to exhaust cigarette smoke from our converted garage, plus help keep it a little cooler in the summer. So far it's doing a good job and it is quieter than the bathroom vent fans, so I'm happy.
