The Caleffi MixCal™ 521 series three-way thermostatic mixing valve
is used in systems producing domestic hot water or in hydronic and
radiant heating systems. It maintains the desired output temperature
of the mixed water supplied at a constant set value compensating for
both temperature and pressure fluctuations of the incoming hot and
cold water.
The valve has been specifically certified to ASSE 1017 and Low Lead Plumbing Law by IAPMO R&T.

Works as expected, good sturdy product!
Using this to regulate temperature for a radiant floor system. This is placed to pull water through a heat exchanger on the hot side and bypass the HX on the cold side. Regulates the temperature to the set temp flawlessly.

properly regulating house water temp
Our plumber installed this as a replacement for a simple mixing valve, which was not properly regulating our hot water temperature (perhaps due to seasonal fluctuations in the temperature of the cold water into the valve). The new thermostatic valve mixes the water from our indirect hot water tank with the cold water from the main house feed to set the house water temp. So far, it is doing this correctly.
