This is the only fill valve I use
I've been in the heating business for forty years.
All of the fill valves with a round body with a diaphragm eventually stick closed. With just a slight pull on the handel or pin (I describe it to my customers like a hand grenade pin) and the boiler starts to magically fill and start running again. Boilers with pressure sensors that shut down the boiler with low pressure are stuck, dead.
The Caleffi never sticks.
I will never sell the round type again. And it doesn't matter who makes it, they all do the same thing.
