Applications:
The Honeywell NK300S Boiler Feed Combination serves as a boiler fill valve used in closed loop heating systems. The NK300S is a (re)filling combination valve that contains an integrated pressure reducing valve, strainer, double check backflow preventer with air vent (to protect potable water supply against back flow of heating water into supply pipe), two shut-off ball valves, pressure gauge, and conveniently located test ports for easy inspections and check out.

Jury is still out on this one
This valve acts a little spurious. When filling with it it likes to spit out the backflow preventor discharge upon initiation of fill pump and shutoff of fill pump. The pressure adjustment is very clunky also. Also had to reseat the provided input and output connectors a couple times to get them to seal. I also don't like that the manual says you need input pressure to be twice whatever you want set as output pressure, that's a little unrealistic in alot of cases. But, it's working. We'll see over the long haul. I'm not about to tear it out...yet.

Needed to replace both pressure reducer and backflow and this seemed a simple way to do it. Product seems to be high quality. The ability to choose between sweat or NPT was also a nice touch.

Nothing like this from any other manufactures. pretty ingenious and convenient design, the quality is superior. Haven't install it yet, so the long term reliability will be attested.
