Pipe Insulation

Pipe insulation is a reliable and inexpensive condensation preventative, reducing the risk of water freezing in pipe lines installed outside or in unheated areas. Using pipe insulation provides a number of cost effective benefits when used and installed properly. Insulating your hot water pipes offers energy savings, as it reduces the heat loss that results from the temperature differential between the pipes and the surrounding ambient air. The most common pipe insulation materials used today include polyethylene and flexible elastomeric foam, which are available in either pre-slit or unslit form.

We offer the environmentally friendly 6 foot length K-Flex Insul-Lock Pipe Insulation, which is available in wall thicknesses of 3/8" through 1" and in sizes ranging from 1/2" to 4-1/8". These flexible elastomeric tube insulations are pre-slit and include a factory-applied pressure sensitive adhesive seam-seal system, which is non-porous, non-fibrous and resists mold growth. Insul-Lock Seam-Seal can be used in applications such as refrigerant lines, cold water plumbing, roof drains and chilled water systems.
