WX201 models can be charged up to 150psi, so our understanding is that you'd just need to change the charge on the current tank. You may want to consult with Amtrol or an installer prior to performing the work.
You should be able to up the tank charge, but you may also need to adjust you pump's pressure switch. If the switch is set to 30psi (and it likely is) and you tank is at 40psi you will actually make your water supply issues worse.
