Aprilaire Model 500 Humidifier
Have a new build 1185 sq. ft ranch home. The product was easy to install and immediately noticed an improvement in humidity. The automatic control monitors the outdoor temperature and after a couple days no minor adjustments were needed. Aprilaire products are excellent.

Great Humidifier!
This is a very complete set up, much better than . The house has been maintaining a consistent humidity level in the low to mid 40% range. My HVAC guy commented that it is a very good system (after I messed up the wiring!).

Works great!
This was a replacement humidifier that I installed for a friend! I had to enlarge the opening just a little and on this model it required a separate transformer that came with the package! The unit is working great!

A QUALITY PRODUCT
I USE THIS HUMIDIFIER AS A SET IT AND FORGET IT PRODUCT. IT'S ALWAYS ON AND PRODUCING HUMIDITY AS NEEDED. SO FAR. IT IS WORKING PERFECTLY. I CAN FEEL THE APARTMENT IS MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE NOW AND GOES ON ONLY WHEN REQUIRED. I WONDER HOW MUCH WATER IT'S GOING TO USE. WE'LL SEE.

The humidifier and humidistat were perfect and delivery was quick. However I was not aware that the HVAC industry standard in my area is to not install owner provided products. I had to return this item. Supply House was very cooperative about the return and refund.

Excellent, easy to install, and trusted
Aprilaire has been I the business for decades so it's a trusted quality product. For any individual with basic fix-it skills this install is doable, albeit time consuming; fully automated requires a remote thermometer be connected to the outside of the house and 18-5 wiring. Humidification is so important with forced air homes and at this price it's an easy decision.
