Description

Please Note: This product comes standard as a 120V model.

The Utility Electric Models Feature:
  • Fully Automatic Controls - Fast-acting surface-mount thermostat for automatic temperature control. Factory-installed sensitive manual reset energy cut-off for safety to prevent overheating.
  • Direct Heat Transfer With a Single Immersed Element - Transfers heat directly and efficiently to the water. Screw-in style element.
  • Vitraglas Lining - Bradford White tanks are lined with an exclusively engineered enamel formula that provides superior tank protection from the highly corrosive effects of hot water. This formula (Vitraglas) is fused to the steel surface by firing at a temperature of over 1600°F (871°C).
  • 1" Non-CFC Foam Insulation - Covers the sides and top of the tank, reducing the amount of heat loss. This results in less energy consumption, improved operation efficiencies, and jacket rigidity.

  • Protective Magnesium Anode Rod - Provides added protection against corrosion for long trouble-free service.

  • Single Phase Operation Only.
  • T&P Relief Valve - Installed.

Great hot water heater

I purchased this unit to replace a Bradford White heater in our office that was beginning to leak after 15 years of faithful service. This is a very good product and SupplyHouse.com sells it for a reasonable amount. Installation was a snap because the pipes all lined up and it works flawlessly. My only beef is that when I ordered this item, SupplyHouse.com said they had at least 11 of them in stock. Turns out they did not, What should have been delivered in one week's time took almost three weeks. I don't want to say this was a case of bait and switch but honestly, if you don't have it in stock, just say so and let me know you have to get it from the manufacturer. Don't make me have to call in and speak to a customer service specialist who politely suggested that I cancel my order and purchase it elsewhere.

Worked as expected.

I have a huge outdoor kitchen with a sink. This water heater has a limited supply of hot water but is also connected to the house hot water so this just supplies the instant hot water and our house hot water heater supplies the rest. This heater also (hopefully) supplies enough background heat to keep the below-counter pipes from freezing in the winter. Our previous identical water heater heating element failed but probably due to a local flood of water from the sink. Important tip :) If you dump gallons of water on the top of the tank, you might short out the heating element. Easy to install, comes with a pressure relief valve installed and that screw into the tank .
