Well Made
From what I can see, this is a well made part with good finish and tolerances with metal instead of plastic stem. I have two that were installed four years ago. I neglected to cycle them until recently and they were a little stiff but no problem, and did loosen some after cycling a few times. It's best to on/off cycle valves at least yearly to keep mineral build-up or corrosion from freezing them up. I installed one more recently and it seems to be the same quality as the two from four years ago. The only improvements I would suggest is have both ends of the knob be long rather than one end longer than the other, to make it easier to turn when stuck or folks who have weak fingers or hands, without resorting to putting a wrench on it. And maybe provide instructions on installation especially how much to tighten the compression joints.

Finding a quarter turn metal ball valve is not that easy anymore. We were very glad to find them here. We not only wanted the reliability of this kind, but the plumber installed the supply valves so close to the sink sewer drains that this style will allow much easier shut off than other valves could.

Great quality, better than big box store
Bought several of these valves and corresponding right angle versions to replace valve stops in my older home, these replace the old multi-turn and frozen values. Love the fact these are all metal, machined main body and the double o-ring valve stems. Easy install and 1/4 turn shut off is great. Super quality, finish and USA made. Will be buying more in the future.

Attractive and seem to work
I bought these to replace all the old, multi-turn valves in my house, one of which failed and did some minor damage when it leaked all day. I like the look of these but more importantly like the 1/4 turn (easy to see if it is on or off), and the theoretical high reliability of a metal ball valve. I guess the real proof will be in 20 years if they all still work well and don't fail, but after a month no issues.

Full metal ball valve
These valves are awesome. The vales sold in the big box store now use a composite "ball" and shaft. Happy I could still find the old style full metal ball valves.
