Direct fit replacement
Servicing an older York residential HVAC system, the bushings on the original motor had been making noise for a while. Chased down the A O Smith p/n to find this unit. Motor was direct fit replacement and is working great. Comes with a universal capacitor, (3 and 5mfd I think) system had a 10mfd unit, had to purchase separately. Back to quietly operating now.

All wires match up plugs right in.
Only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is it doesn't seem to blow as hard as the original motor. Otherwise it's super quiet and works fantastic.

So far so good
Bought this to replace stupid ESC motor (which would cost arm+2 legs to replace, and all just because the potted controller couldn't get rotor position feedback). So now have something robust, cost-effective and long lasting. Fits right in to the existing blower assembly. Comes with the run cap, which is multiple values in one package, and kind of nifty since you get some extra terminals to play with, which makes wiring a bit easier.
