The temperature range of this thermostat goes up to 99 degrees Fahrenheit.
We have no way of trouble shooting units, you would have to contact Honeywell or a technician.
Hmmm... Have not seen that. Would try to "power cycle" the T-stat by removing its power source, waiting several minutes, and reapplying the power. And cross your fingers!!
you would need to know the control voltage for the furnaces. if its 24volt or millivolt it should but you probably need 1 thermostat for each furnace.
This model requires 2 AA batteries.
No easy answer. It's not instantaneous when the temp first reads the same as the set point on the stat. Then when the stat shuts off, other chips in your system will time shut down of the compressor and then the blower.
This thermostat has a 5-year warranty. If you purchase it through PexSupply, you would contact us in order to process any potential warranty claim.
It worked for me with 5 wires.
Yes it will. You will need to 1st enable the auto-changeover feature in the installer menu. Change sub-menu 12 to selection 1. For a heat pump set-up. I would recommend at least 7 wires. 8 if you need an extra emergency heat wire. -Florida & NY Mech Contractor
You can set it for auto change over or manual. It depends for the wiring if you will use the battery or power it with 24v and how many stages you have.. Maximum you will need 8 wires.
If it has worked for five years and nothing else has changed, then it probably needs to be replaced. But first, try reprogramming it to see if that corrects the problem. Bill
You can use Setup Functions 27 and 28 to do this (see page 7 of the manual - http://s3.pexsupply.com/manuals/1249544874360/Honeywell_TH5220D1003_Install_Guide.pdf ), but there would be nothing to stop someone from changing that setting. Your other option would be to get programmable thermostats with keypad lockout capability.
Yes, thru the installer set up in the instructions.
YES - You can specify a High Limit on the heat, and a Low Limit on the AC, if applicable. Wondering if this is a Good Idea.
Yes, this thermostat has settings for the minimum cool and maximum heat setpoints. I never thought of using it for rentals like that, but it is a good idea to keep them from setting it at 60 and letting it run.
HEAT Mode is Regular Heat Stage #1, while EMHEAT is Stage #2 of Multi-Stage Stat. The Compressor Lock Out is a safety feature that protects your system. It is not a function that you do, as this feature works automatically on its own.
