Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffL8148E1257 is an OEM part made by Honeywell for Burnham boilers. 80160349 is the current part number.
Q: I see were you stated that the 1265 stat is not a direct replacement for the 1257. my question is will it still work or what is the difference. Thanks

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThe L8148E1265 AND L8148E1257 are the same control, however their temperature ranges are different. The L8148E1257 has a temperature range of 140-240 degrees F, while the L8148E1265 has a temperature range of 180-240 degrees F. They are both Aquastats used with a vent damper. Either control would be appropriate to use.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThe L8148E1265 is used on gas and only if you are using a vent damper. If this meets your requirements, you can use this item as a replacement. However, if you are not using a vent damper, the L8148J1009 should be the part used.
Q: Where do I find the full Model numger on my old unit? I find the L8148E on the cover, but do not find the 4 digit number following like 1265.

Q: Will this work with Series MI/MIH Boiler, my aquastat no longer works that # is L209 which I do understand is quite old. I need to replace this relay so my boiler will work.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffIn order to get an accurate replacement you will need to find out the full model number of the aquastat you are replacing. Usually if a model is obsolete it will have a suggested replacement. Aquastats are also selected based on desired temperature range and differential.
