I'm not entirely sure what this is for but I found a use...
What I needed was something like the Cherne end of pipe gripper plug (which works very well) but with a garden hose attachment to periodically blast out the pipes. Drilling a hole through the sealed end helped. The 2-inch end doesn't really expand enough to grip. It does work for my limited purpose (using a thick rubber band as an O-ring) but I can tighten this as much as I dare, and it doesn't seem to expand the base enough to seal the 2-inch pipe. The lack of a single star is for the lack of expansion at the base—something the gripper plug does quite well. I apologize if this is a "user error" situation, which I freely admit might be the case.

Arrived quickly!
I use the 2" test titan plugs on 11/2 PVC fittings. They work great for testing. I find it easier to trap out a pedestal without a piece glued in coming out of the wall.

Seals well for air pressure test
Used for 5 psi air pressure test on ABS pipe. 3/4 male thread is garden hose thread, but since the threads are plastic I wrapped with PTFE tape and forced a female pipe thread pressure gauge on there... sealed no problem.
