This unit is not approved for use in space heating applications.
It has three stages and uses them only as demand is needed. Sent from Outlook Mobile
I do not know, but you should be able to determine your answer by reading their operation manual online. I do know that this is a first class quality heater. I do not know the eco brand.
I see no reason why not. This unit heats as long as there is a demand for hot water. If the demand is very low, it might not cut on. There is a safety feature that prevents it from overheating. It also has a 140F maximum temp output that limits the total energy it can put out. We have had no problems with ours whatsoever. This is a great product.
Yes without a doubt. Sent from my iPhone
Stiebel Eltron units are not suitable for use in space heating applications.
yes, this unit turn back automatically. there is any need to do absolutely anything. I have it for three years in my current home and I had the same in my previous home for 12 years. I love it.
Turns on automatically. Never had an issue with a restart. Sent from my iPhone
We have not had to restart it after power outages.
Tankless water heaters, as a rule of thumb, save about 15% when compared to tank-style water heaters.
I live in central MA, Granted we have had a mild winter.... But my electric bill went up 10-12 dollars. A little about us we a 3 person family mon-fri and a 5 person family on the weekends, lots of showers and dishes laundry etc. I am so happy with our purchase.
You may be able to get by with a smaller unit, depending on where you live (in a warmer climate, water does not have to be heated up as much). The key factor with tankless water heaters is to make sure they can meet your GPM requirements.
Yes, this unit is designed to supply all the hot water needs for your home. It will supply you with up to 6 gallons of hot water per minute
I run my whole house with the 29. Family of 5 in winter in nj
These tanks can clog due to hard water in the system. We would recommend that you add a Wye Strainer to your system to prevent this from happening. You can consider SKU: 0220071 which is a Wye Strainer.
