saving, close-coupled, maintenance free motor with permanently lubricated, sealed-for- life bearings, Noryl® impeller and durable, carbon/silicon-carbide mechanical seal
provide unmatched reliability.
The compact 2400 Series High Capacity Circulators are for use in a wide range of larger residential and commercial hydronic systems. Typical applications include hydronic heating, in-floor radiant, snow melt, high pressure drop boilers, outdoor wood boilers, chilled water cooling, geothermal heat pumps, primary/secondary loops and hydro air fan coils. The Stainless Steel 2400 Series should be used for open, domestic water recirculation systems. The unitized, carbon/silicon-carbide mechanical seal is easy to service in only a few minutes.

The Strong Silent Type
For high head hydronic use, this is an amazingly economical circulator. For less than half the price of competitive pumps, the silent operation, performance to fit the promises and drop-in replacement fit surprised me.
The only challenge was wiring, lacking a convenient termination for the ground wire but that's solved with a little extra work using a longer screw for the capacitor bracket.
Heavy duty case and performance so far tell me I made a good purchase. Thanks PexSupply!

I wish there was an alternative (I have to look further) to this. First one seized right after the warranty. I run the entire system a few times in the summer to avoid that. Thew that in the garbage. The last one we replaced is out there screaming (sounds like the bearings/some sort of alarm) and is leaking around the impeller housing (not the flanges). Water level fine, lines purged of air - running on coil heat until it arrives/installed. That should be cheap as the burner does/barn at over 6000 sq/ft. Not fun!
Kudos to Supply house on their pricing, great customer service and speedy delivery. Let's see if this #2 Taco explodes before the 3rd gets here!

This is my third one of these pumps under warranty. These are supposed to be designed for Outdoor wood boilers.
But I have had two fail in less than 2 years. If they weren't being replaced under warranty I would never buy another. Supply House has been great with their customer service on this pump they get 5 stars in my book.

I would definitely buy again
I put this pump on my outdoor wood furnace to pump to a big open loop hydronic system 40x60 slab. It runs the system very well with plenty of pressure.

Great pump
Watch a video on YouTube about how this pump was specifically designed for outdoor wood boilers and boy is it… it put the 0014 to shame much more powerful push. It sits at the stove 160' away and push's through a heat exchanger. It over loaded my pressure gauge in the line lol I had to replace it!

Third pump starting to fail. in 18 months.
I just installed the 3rd circulation pump on my Geo-Thermal heating system..
The first pump failed after one year.
The second pump seized up after 3 months.
The third one, the one in the system right now, has developed a vibration.
The water temperature is 160 F at 15 lbs. well within the limits of the pump.
Geo-Thermal nightmare.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThe seal kit is part 2400-002RP. Replacement motors, body and flange gaskets, and impellers are also available as replacement parts for the unit.
