Good tank.
Last one lasted 14 years I expect similar from the new one. Plastic bottom is a must the metal stand type will rust out quick if on a concrete floor sitting near the sump pump crock. In my experience the fiber glass tanks don't outlast the metal as they both have the same diaphragm and that is the limiting factor. As far as I can tell this tank is better quality than any you will find at the big box stores. The rubber is said to be thicker.

yes i might buy again, but would send back a dented tank
Unit appears well engineered and performs as stated. I was a bit disappointed in the factory packaging, which lead to 2 small dents in the top of the unit. I checked with Welltrol and they confirmed they would honor warranty, but again, they need to do a much better job of packaging, the tank was just loose in Large box, no foam or paper for cushioning, disappointing for a top shelf unit....

This was great buy!
We had a new water softener system installed so decided to replace our 15 year old pressure tank that was the same brand. We chose the durabase as our plumber said it didn't matter which base we bought which saved us over $100. It works great and we have more water pressure with our new tank
