Picked up this Bosch heater to use as a booster because my main hot water heater is far away from the kitchen, thus takes a few minutes to get luke warm water. This little unit does the trick, no more waiting for hot water at the kitchen tap! (Happy wife, happy life.) The ES4 was perfect for my needs & this unit works as intended. Like everything else these days, the unit is made in China......time will tell how long it will last :) SupplyHouse is always prompt about fulfilling my orders & has fast shipping if unit is in stock.......Thanks!

Very disappointed with this supply house. We ordered a part and were told it would arrive in a few days. After waiting and following up, they came back with no update at all and basically said they don't know where the package is.
As a plumbing company, we rely on suppliers to be reliable. Because of their lack of communication and accountability, we ended up losing a customer and wasting valuable time.
Now they are telling us we have to reorder the part, as if the delay and inconvenience didn't matter. This is not how a professional supplier should operate.
We will not be using them again, and I do not recommend them to other contractors who need dependable service.

Tank leaked within 3 years,
Bosch blamed me. In the manual it does say you need to disconnect, remove, drain the unit. Disassemble, remove the covers (2), disconnect the heating element and remove it to inspect / replace the anode unit. So if you would like to do this every year, this is the hot water heater for you! If not it will probably leak and they refused warranty replacement for me. So much for 6 year warranty, not worth the ink to print it. No "STARS" was not a option for my rating.

Quick hot water, but it rusted out in 2 1/2 years. We have hard water, but really only 30 months do start leaking.

Great option for a small space
I use this water heater for a bathroom and kitchen on a geodesic dome home. Provides enough hot water to both sinks for basic uses like cooking and hand washing and reheats in no time. Installation was a breeze too!

Wife is very happy!
Should have done this a lot sooner. Now instead of having to deal with cold water at the kitchen sink for over a minute, we have nice hot water in 2-3 seconds. Got all of the parts (Sharkbite elbows and ball valves, along with a set of 1/2" FIP supply lines) here at Supply House except for a 2' piece of PEX I purchased locally. Most of the work for this project was running the dedicated circuit up from the basement in the sink cabinet. Even that wasn't that tough.
Supply House has become my good to place for DIY plumbing and HVAC needs

Awesome hot water reservoir!
Was taking 1.5 mins to get luke warm water to kitchen sink. With a few additional water lines, purchased separately because I had to put it in a cabinet next to sink, unit installed with ease. Now have hot water in a second or two.
