I think the price for the product I bought was reasonable. Check prices before purchase. I would buy again if the price is right. I haven't used product yet so I cannot make comments on how well the product works.

Lasts a little longer than the warranty(5 yrs.) then dies.
This is my second replacement in 12 yrs. The original lasted about 7 yrs. and the first replacement about 5 yrs. Something that is 95% electronic with only 1 moving part should last longer. It is easy to install as a replacement since nothing has to be re-wired and is accurate for as long as it lasts. Simple to operate. Reasonable price.

Product was a replacement, works just fine!
Our Honeywell thermostat was winking out (actual temp not moving as changed periodically causing the system to run continuously). We purchased an exact replacement as we liked how the device was controlled and it had the aux heat position. Service was prompt and everything works just fine.

Q: Does this thermostat automatically change from the Aux heat to the emergency heat if the Aux heat fails? If not, do you have thermostats that do that, so if the aux heat source goes out when you are away, the backup system comes on?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffRTH3100C1002 is a retail model thermostat (that can be found in Home Depot, etc.), as opposed to a Tradeline contractor model. Tradeline models generally have more installer set-up options. TH3210D1004 is a 2H/1C, non-programmable model. We do not have any specs available on the RTH3100C1002.

Q: I currently have a Honeywell T841A1217 and want to install an TH3210D1004. The wiring labels are different. T841A1217 has W2,X,O,E,G,Y,R. Don't know the conversion of the two wiring lable.
