IKONIC High-Efficiency 11.0 GPM Indoor Condensing Tankless Natural Gas Water Heater with Recirculation Pump, RTGH-SR11I

I installed this water heater after having alot of issues with another brand of tankless. After it was plumbed in following the instructions (which look overwhelming but really aren't), it was very easy to fire up and use. Registration on Wifi was relatively simple and the app while another reviewer ask for data, provides good details about hourly water and gas usage to track history. Provides a nice consistent hot water and the the recirc pump inside works sell in getting the water all the water to the top of the second story in my house with the bypass valve. No issues and but it's been only a few days of usage.

Great water heater full of features that would otherwise be an added expanse on other systems. Upon installation with a service valve kit the pressure release valve on the hot water side is typically directly to the left. This unit has the gas line directly where the pressure release valve is typically be located. Plan your piping route accordingly, or orient the release valve at an angle to clear the interference. The Wi-Fi interface works well, however registering for an account requires you to provide personal information that is just not necessary to operate a water heater; why does Rheem needs all that data? Additionally some features specifically scheduling recirculating time can only be done via a Wi-Fi interface (the mobile App) therefore requiring you to provide your personal info. It would be helpful to provide access to all features directly at the water heater's display.
