The original GE went 04 to 20. This Titan HD went from 7-20 to 6-25. I don't think it ran 60,000 hours

I will be leaving this review for many of the TitanHD run & dual run capacitors that I have used over the past couple years. This one is for the 30/5/440 one but the cons & pros are just generic to the overall line of TitanHD caps. The cons: I have had a couple fail within a couple years use (not specifically this particular model). In most of those situations though there are extenuating circumstances that were contributors to the failure such as it turned out that one condensing unit had the wrong size capacitor on it, which failed a little after a year. The replacement was 5 Mfd higher rated on the compressor side than the failed one & has been running well for a couple year since. Another one had a very dirty condenser coil, which believe it or not will stress out a compressor run capacitor, even a USA made one. Pros: Made in the USA! Standard sizes on all their dual capacitors - as in all the smaller diameter ones fit the pre-cut small holes in most units & the larger diameter ones fit all the pre-cut larger holes. This is something that many of the Chinese made newer dual capacitors I have used fail to comply with many times, especially the smaller ones. 2nd, I have never found a TitanHD capacitor fully blown. Actually, now that I think about it, I'm not sure I have even ever seen a swollen one. Maybe one or two. The reason is, that they have a safety in them that when they finally fail, it opens the internal circuit, shutting down the operation of the capacitor on that connection. Now by fully blown I mean popped open, with the cap separated from the body. This type of failure is fairly normal for most run capacitors but not for the TitanHD line as they include an internal safety device that I guess basically kills it whenever it starts to fail. I don't know every aspect of why this is a good thing but if you have ever had to replace a fully blown run capacitor you know that the goo inside that spills out on everything around it is sticky & annoying.
