Quality, Heavy Duty housing
Install went well. I had concerns about "burying" the brass male adapter. Just a couple wraps of Blue Monster and a heavy smear of Real-Tuff. No issues.
*Note: this does come with mounting bracket.

HD Clear Housing Only Way To Go
I bought this to replace a W10-PR (solid color sump) because it's "clearly" much easier to monitor when the filter inside it needs to be replaced. Looking at product pictures, I hoped to just swap out the American Plumber solid color (PR) sump with the clear sump (BC) BUT the feed/outflow heads are NOT the same! SupplyHouse tech support told me this before I ordered it and they were correct. EXCELLENT pros at SupplyHouse are always very helpful.

Useful information about this product.
I want to mention that I purchased a filter wrench because it doesn't say that one is included however it did arrive with one in the box. The mounting bracket is not included and needs to be purchased separately. Also worth noting that the clear housing needs to be replaced after 5 years of use where as the opaque housing is good for 10 years of use before it needs to be replaced. If I had know that in advance I would have purchased the opaque housing instead. Replacement o-rings are not included with filters and need to be purchased separately but 1 does come with the new housing. Otherwise the filter housing is well made.

This filter does not come with a mounting bracket like most others do, you need to order it separately.

Whole House Filter
I used this as a whole house filter before our water filter/softener setup. It works great. Put a 20 micron filter in this housing and a 5 micron in the setup after. Made a great improvement in our water pressure and clarity. Very sturdy and easy to install.
