The WX-202 is the replacement for the PSP42T-t02 and should work fine with your CP75 pump.
No it can not, you should get a horizontal version.
The charge should be set to 2 psi below the cut-in pressure on the pump. Depending on your switch you may have to add or release pressure to the tank.
The tank's life will be reduced in the horizontal position. Debris builds up in the tank when it is on it's side.
Yes, the WX-202 is connected to the water supply line through a 1" NPT elbow connection located on the bottom of the unit.
We recommend that you set you tank to your system pressure.
For anybody looking for advice. To get accurate pressure in your tank... 1st drain the tank of all the water that is in it, 2nd check the air pressure in the tank (tire gauge preferably), 3rd set the tank Pressure to 2 pounds lower than the low setting of the pressure switch (30/50 switch needs 28 lb of air in tank, 40/60 needs 38 lb of air in tank). Hope this is helpful to somebody who is wondering
According to the manufacturer, you should be getting 5 to 5 1/2 gallons. They recommend letting out about 5 psi to see if that improves the draw-down.
