The all new T-H3-DV/OS is available in 2 models the T-H3-DV (Indoor) and the T-H3-OS (Outdoor) having a max GPM is 10.0. The T-H3 model can easy-link up to 4 units and multi-link up to 20 units. The T-H3-DV/OS is ideal for commercial applications including small restaurants and beauty salons. Utilizing HRS35 copper alloy for the heat exchanger tubing, the T-H3-DV/OS is also suited for heavier-residential usages such as space-heating and domestic recirculation systems. T-H3-DV-N Replacement
I just wanted to take a moment to talk about Takagi and these units! I have two T-H2-DV-N's installed and both have worked perfectly! Our gas bill has been reduced over 70%! We've used these for 5 years now. Unfortuantely, our second unit had a cracked heat exchanger. The exchanger has a 10 year warranty. Labor is only one year. With my technical background and construction experience, Tech support provided the step by step instructions to remove and install a new heat exchanger. However, because water leaked from the faulty heat exchanger it damaged other parts. Takagi explained that the cost for the parts exceeded the cost of a new unit so we have a new unit coming; a T-H3-DV-N. So for all you folks considering a tankless system, I would suggest you stick with Takagi! Hands down, there isn't another manufacturer that I would recommend!
Supply House sold us our first units 5 years ago and will handle the replacement of the T-H3-DV-N

Unit Arrived clearly with damage, I sent pictures March 26th to Jaidah and have not got any responses back to my claim. The installer did install unit and bent back to brackets that where bent the unit does look like it was dropped. the box was re-taped and all the white foam insulation was missing so the unit was bouncing inside the box. Unit is running hopefully I have no issues in the future and get a response back form Supplyhouse.

This water heater has problems with internal leakage, we replaced one last year while under warranty, and it happened again this year just a month after warranty has expired. So 2 for 2 years and I wouldn't recommend it

Q: I can't seem to find a plastic fitting to attach to the condensation port. I am not using the neutralizer kit. The threads are 3/8" mpt I believe and i would like to find a fitting that goes from 3/8" fpt to 3/8" hose barb but i can't seem to find any 3/8" fpt fittings on your site or others. keeping in mind that the fitting must be some type of plastic according to the installation manual, because the condensation is acidic.

Q: From manual, it said non return valve is optional. In other section, it is said non return valve must be installed. Can I choose not to install it?

Q: It says max BTU is 199k and min 15k. Is there a temp sensor at the inlet to enable the heater to modulate? or does it just burn at max BTU? thanks.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffPlease take a look at page 9 of the install manual for included accessories and optional accessories. Venting and Isolation valves are not included with the heater. The indoor unit has a built in temperature control.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffYes, the water heater can be used to supply potable water and space heating but shall not be connected to any heating system or component(s) previously used with non-potable water where any chemicals were added to the water heating appliances. When the system requires water for space heating at higher temperatures than for other uses, a mixing valve should be installed to reduce the scald hazard potential.
