    Nice for floor heat

We are a radiant heat contractor and we use these as an alternative to boilers. Some will disagree with this on principle but we have had very good results. We like Takagi for this purpose for several reasons; they have supported using their tankless units for space heating applications for years, their units have a very good turn-down rate, they are easy to install and they have been very reliable. One specific recommendation for using these, if you need supply water temperatures hotter than 140 F, you will need the larger TH3 unit and a remote controller, the smaller units will only go to 140 F maximum. Also, the inline strainers on this units (like most tankless heaters) is quite small. If your water stream has any particulates in it, you'll want to add an inline wye strainer upstream from the pump. We use a 1" or 1-1/4" strainer with a 100 mesh screen. Multiple happy customers, which makes US happy.

    Quit working after 8 hrs.

Fan failed after 8 hrs of use trying to start up radiant floor system. Takagi tech support said no warranty because used in radiant heat system. They do not support using for heating systems. 250$ fan motor

    Great Heater!

This is a replacement for my original one I installed around 22 years ago! Honestly the old one was probably fine and most likely needed a new flow switch but at that age I figured it would be better to just replace with a more efficient model.

    They never disappoint.....

I am a veteran that helps many veterans with various projects. When it comes to plumbing, Supply House is my vendor of choice. Their product selection is great and whomever you interact with will definitely meet or exceed your expectations. Simply put, they are a company that makes every effort to retain or gain new customers.......that is why I have been with them for several years. Give them a try.

    second one I've bought.

This is the second one I bought for a house I'm renovating. Heating hot water with gas is more efficient than electric. Supplyhouse.com has the best prices and service. Keep up the good work.

I would use this item again

This is a great product, I use them for hydronic heating systems and they also work well for that purpose. My only recommendation, remove their inline filter screen . It's way too small and will not allow your pump to achieve the 2 GPM they want for this heater when being used for heating. Use a 1" or larger strainer in your circulating line

    Excellent service and quality product

The tankless water heater I purchased was used to replace a 10-year-old Rheem tankless unit that was problematic for a 7000-foot elevation. The need was immediate and when I ordered the T-H3J-DV-P it was shipped the same day, unlike a competitor that could not ship for 2 weeks. The unit arrived three days later and I installed it with little effort. The pricew was very competitive and the service was excellent.
