never could get it to work
The handle did melt on a couple I installed when sweating. I replaced those and successfully used a more focused flame the next time but I couldn't install the water line with the compression fitting so they didn't leak. I switched to a different product that has a threaded water line and threw all four of these out. Too fussy.
