We recommend the installation of all LG Ductless Split Systems to be done by a licensed, trained & qualified HVAC technician with the proper knowledge and background. A trained technician will be able to judge the best location for the air handling (evaporator) unit and also the correct size for the area it has to cool.
Should you experience an issue during the installation or the initial startup of the unit please do not contact the manufacturer. You should have the technician that installed the units contact us or the manufacturer. LG cannot accept any service or warranty calls from anybody but a licensed HVAC technician.
Neither we or LG Electronics U.S.A. can be held liable for improper installation and operation of any LG air conditioning product purchased from our company. Should a warranty issue arise where parts will need to be replaced, an installation receipt will be required along with your sales receipt. Failure to provide a receipt or invoice may result in the warranty not being honored.
Note: Warranties on mini split air conditioners only include parts and do not include labor. The licensed HVAC Technician who installs your air conditioner should always provide you with a labor warranty (preferably for a full year to compliment the manufacturers' parts warranty).

better off with just a fan
will not cool for nothing.....only works properly in test mode but that only lasts 18 minutes.....can't find anyone to service LG............. I should have stuck to MR Cool

I've installed two of these units recently. The instructions that are packed with the unit cover a few different units but LG has detailed (74 page) instruction document on their web site. And make sure to perform the triple evacuation using dry nitrogen to "break" the vacuum each time. Nitrogen is required to pressure test and for the triple evacuation procedure.
Prior, I've installed Mitsubishi units. Installing the LG units was very similar, they must copy each other.
I started using Flaretite Seals on the flair fittings after a unit (installed two years) leaked at the line-set connection. I had pressure tested the system with nitrogen (400 PSI) but it still leaked about a year after installation.

Unsure at this only had it installed for a week.
It is a replacement for a LG Vi unit. I'm using it to heat and cool my garage. it is working good so far.

Q: Will this pair with a LSNHEV1 indoor head? I'm aware it says the 2 needs purchased separately. I'm aware, but I have a LSNHEV1 on hand. Looking for a condenser for it.
