The T-H3J-DV-N supplies hot water to domestic hot water systems (directly or indirectly) which can be used with storage tanks, recirculation systems, hydronic heating systems, radiant floor systems, and/or domestic & heating applications. The T-H3J is a high efficient, condensing tankless water heater perfect for residential applications. With gas inputs of 160,000 BTU, the T-H3J can produce enough hot water for two bathrooms in warmer climates or 1.5 baths in colder climates.

- This unit is NOT approved for installation in Manufacture Homes and is not suitable for space heating applications only.

- 15-year limited heat exchanger, 5 yrs limited parts Residential use
- Primary heat exchanger utilizes commercial-grade copper alloy for 25 times better heat transfer than stainless steel
- Secondary heat exchanger utilizes 316L stainless steel for better corrosion resistance
- Complies with Ultra-Low NOx regulations of less than 14 ng/J (<20ppm)
- Integrated controls and power cord as standard features
- Venting with Schedule 40 PVC, CPVC, PP, Category III stainless steel
- Safety features include freeze, overheat, surge protection, and troubleshooting diagnostic codes

Excellent water heater.
Simple to install, pvc vent for both intake and exhaust. Water and gas connections are standard 3/4". My old Bosch 2400e broke around four times in nine years, even when it was working, the quality of the hot water was poor. The takagi has proven to be an amazing replacement with steady hot water and not sudden drops on temperature. I am using the water heater in the northeast and thus far it has performed as expected.

Easy install
Very efficient and easy to install. Small shipping damage on one corner but does not affect product use. Packing could have been tighter. The outside boxes were damaged and you could see through the holes. Looks like they were tossed around like a hot potato.

I would buy this product again and again
This is my 4th tankless Takagi for my properties. These are huge savings products. Start saving now and do your research. After the first few months, I was saving about $24 each month not maintaining that 40-gallon hot water tank. Sure does offset the cost of installation. With the heat exchanger warranty, I will have my unit completely paid for in less than 7 years. Hows that for a zero cost hot water tank.

Q: I have heard that tankless water heater's don't always operate properly with glycol in a hydronic heating application. Will this unit operate with a glycol and water combination without damaging the unit or throwing an error code. If so, what is the maximum percentage of glycol solution that can be used?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffAccording to the manual: Chemicals such as diluted Glycol can be used for radiant floor, Hydro/fan coil air or Baseboard heating only. The diluted solution of glycol must contain between 25 and 55 % of Glycol. Be aware that in closed-loop glycol systems, low pressure in the heat exchanger can cause low-temperature boiling, resulting in excessive noise and damage to the water heater. Consult with the glycol maker for specifications prior to use.

Q: hi, how do you reset this unit . Iknow its button under the hood but witch one and how do i do it . had code pop up and there was ice build up outside on pipe. cleared that but still get code. need to reset .

Q: What is the real world minimum flow rate? I have a ... now and it shuts off if the sink is not on full blast or if I put cold water in with hot.
