3/4" Air Separator (Threaded)

Some initial problems with air release valve leaking. had to open it up and clean out the air release mechanism which was leaking water constantly, due to debris affecting the float and seal. May have been from my installation, but what I love, it was easy to open up and clean

Used in hydronic heating system. No problems. Hefty construction. Easy installation.

I get water from a community well. Lately the well has been pumping large amounts of air into our supply line. The open loop hydronic heating system stopped working from all the air in the lines. Motor was grinding loudly and heat efficiency was near 0. I added this air separator per manufacturer's instruction. I then flushed water through the system to drive out any large air pockets. Wow! This component really works well. The heating system stays quiet and is working noticeably better. My other faucets are still sputtering and spitting out air, but my hydronic heating is working perfectly. This 3/4" Air Separator (Threaded) removes an enormous amount of air quietly and efficiently.

I put this in my radiant heating system. One of the main reasons I chose this eliminator is that it does not require the installation of a preceding length of pipe to facilitate air elimination. Therefore, since my space is limited, I could incorporate it immediately following and/or prior to a 90° elbow.

Lower priced than competitors so I was initially concerned - but ordered it anyway. Glad I did. It's solidly built of brass, easy to install, compact so it fit in my application, plumbed the expansion tank directly into bottom 1/2" NPT hole. Totally solved the air problem with my hydronic slab heat system.

Seems to have rapidly eliminated all the air from my hydronic floor heat system. Tightened copper threads into the air eliminator, then cut to length and sweated the copper stubs into the system. Piece of cake!
