PL-8ADLX-MC Air Acetylene Self Lighting Torch Kit

I had a sizable boiler project to work that included the fabrication of a Multi-Zone Manifold with circulators. If you have a large copper plumbing job to do this is the torch you need! I have a really decent propane torch but when you have a lot of copper plumbing work to do Air Acetylene is the way to go.

The regulator is fine but I should have not purchased the self igniting torch tip. I sent back the first one due to just popping, will not light no matter how full my tank was nor how much gas pressure I used. The second one I recieved was exactly the same and Supply House was willing to exchange again but like I said to Customer Service, I had no choice but to keep the replacement and just use the lighter. With the lighter it works fine. Here's my point, Supply House had been great, but at times like every distributor, they get companies that supply inferior goods. Years ago, the right thing would have been, yell Customer to keep the tip bit we will send same tip bit without the self ignighter at no cost. Now what has this cost Supply House, a 2 star rating and a review from a 40 year trade veteran who recommends not buying this product. Like I said, these items I recieved both the original and replacement that did not work could be a bad batch, but this whole scenario could have been resolved in a way that would have pleased me, the end user
