Actuators
- Thermal Actuator for Bluefin Manifolds
If you want to use your manifold to heat multiple zones, you can purchase return side actuators that work along side thermostats. The actuators act as zone valves to allow you to use one manifold to control the temperature in different rooms independently.
The VA 80 adapter ring is also required when using an actuator with a Bluefin manifold, which you can find here.

Fittings Leak
Good product other than the 1/2" compression fittings for the PEX. Leak during pressure test no matter how tight they were put on. Have to get new fittings before hooking them up. Maybe spend the extra cash for better fittings rather than using the ones that came with the BluFin radiant package?

Beware of faulty threading
This would be an incredible bang for you buck item but for the valve threading. Side to manifold fine (obviously very forgiving given that a gasket is employed). However, other side leaks. despite being tight enough and thread sealant properly applied a bothersome drip remains (both H/C valves). I noticed that replacement valve sets are backordered which makes me wonder if these things are irregular and folks have had to order replacement readily to replace stock sets (that come with the manifold). Then again at less that $40 for a set, perhaps you get what you pay for. Beyond the valves the manifold is well built and easy to install. Only other thing is that I think the direction are incorrect (typo) as H inlet flow adjust units in practice function opposite of the direction in term of what happens when turned counter vs clock wise.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffBluefin does not offer a coupling, but you could branch off of your supply lines to your 12 loop to feed the 2 loop and mount it separately.

Q: Are the following included with this product: -inlet and outlet shut-off valves with dial thermometer, if so what size connection -compression connetors for the pex supply and return lines

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThe manifold comes with inlet and outlet shut-off valves that each have a dial thermometer. They connect to the 1" BSP connections on the manifold, and have 1" female NPT thread for supply and return piping connections. The thread size is EK20 for the loop connections.
