Series 668S1 TwistFlow pre-assembled distribution manifold for radiant panel systems
with built-in sight flow gauge/balancing valve
Note: This manifold requires 12 Loop Fitting Assemblies (please see below).
Distribution manifolds for radiant panel systems are used to optimally distribute the heating fluid in floor heating system circuits and ultimately improve the control of heat emission from the panels. The manifolds ensure that the flow to each circuit is regulated precisely and also control the shut-off, venting and automatic removal of air from the system.

If you want to use your manifold to heat multiple zones, you can purchase return side actuators that work along side thermostats. The actuators act as zone valves to allow you to use one manifold to control the temperature in different rooms independently.
Note: This manifold requires 12 Loop Fitting Assemblies (please see below).

As expected with one big exception
As others noted, check tightness of all fittings / existing connections. I did notice the angle of the thermometers and rotated them up before adding water to the system.
The zone and other connections are all tight to get to. If you don't buy the $25 Caleffi wrench, you have to start at one end and work to the other. One of the drain fittings leaked and I had a hard time getting multiple wrenches in place to tighten it.
My greatest disappointment was that the powered zone actuators are on or off all the way. The takes away the greatest feature of the manual manifold that allows you to dial in / balance the flows. I was expecting a stop nut or other means of manually setting how far the valves open when actuated.

Pretty good
The way the product is mounted was a problem. I had radiant heat packs going in it was thick with the aluminum coating inside. I needed to separate the supply and return ports because the text was too thick to fit under the return into the supply.

Pretty looking, but some flaws
The twist flow tolerance is very poor, dialing it in is very difficult. Also cannot fit the last zone valve on because the mounting bracket is in the way. Finally the temperature ports are turned down on a angle making it very difficult to read without having to bend down to read it.

Q: Can this be reversed so the return is on top and the supply is on the bottom? I have a manifold now that the supply is on the bottom. Its a warm rite floor system manifold. Looks exactly the same except for the supply/return.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffPex adapters must be purchased separately. 680504A is the correct fitting for standard 1/2" pex. The supply and return inlets are 1" NPT and can be adapted from there to meet your needs. The thermometers are optional, and are part number 688003A. They attach to the supply and return valves.
