This pump is perfect for our requirements. Works great.

I use this pump as an outside sump pump to keep water from seeping in my basement. This is my second pump. the first one lasted 15 years before it need to be replaced. Worth every dollar spent to have this automatically start and pump water from the rains that seep under ground. Have had no problems with water getting into my basement since installing this pump at the bottom of the sump hole.

We use asbout 5 to 6 of these per year in lowered pits, these work great

Use these for sunken areas we build, amilnly to remove rain and washing water from the low areas

We have bought 3 of these pumps over the past 15+ years and they work great in the little pond, fountain/waterfall we have in the back yard.

To drain swimming pools

The first Little Giant 6-CIA pump I had for about 19 years and ran perfectly, but time takes its toll. The specialized power cord with built-in vent tube was dry and cracked, the pump seal was leaking and the switch had to be replaced so it was finally time to replace the pump. So I replaced it with the same model and expect it too to last 15 or more years. One thing I really like about there pumps is that replacement parts are still available even after 19 years which was a important factor to get an identical replacement.

I have the 8-CIA version of this pump as my primary sump pump, and just bought this 6-CIA to have as a back-up. So I actually haven't used the new 6-CIA, but I'm very satisfied with the series 8, hence why I bought another. I'm also pleased with Supply House. This was my first purchase from them, but the price was as good as any other option, and better than most and the pump arrived within 3-4 days of ordering. Couldn't ask for much more than that from the seller.

It does the job. No problems so far.
