This manifold requires 8 Loop Fitting Assemblies (please see below).
TruFLOW Jr. Assembly with Balancing Valves (supply manifold) and Isolation Valves (return manifold) comes fully assembled and ready for installation. Use the TruFLOW Balancing Hex Key on the internal balancing valves of the supply manifold to balance the loops across the manifold. Maximum recommended flow to the manifold body diameter is 14gpm.

Loop End Cap

These allow you to cap off a loop of the manifold if it will not be used.
TruFLOW Supply/Return Ball Valves
- A2631250: TruFLOW Supply/Return Ball Valves (box of 2)
These allow you to quickly shut-off the supply and return sides of the manifold. These valves are R32 thread x R32 thread. The supply and return ends of the manifold is R32.
TruFLOW Supply/Return Adapters
- TruFLOW Supply/Return Adapters
These allow you to connect the manifold to your supply and return lines. The supply and return end of the manifold is R32 thread. Choose an R32 adapter that will connect the manifold to your desired application.
- A3010522: Thermal Actuator (4 Wire)
If you want to use your manifold to heat multiple zones, you can purchase return side actuators that work along side thermostats. The actuators act as zone valves to allow you to use one manifold to control the temperature in different rooms independently.

Lack of detailed instructions
Nice piece of equiptment but no direct detailed instructions. Had to call [...] manufacturer to deferentiate returnand supply side. Others are color coded. Bottom is supply top is return. Be careful not to pinch the o rings on the pex connectors. Other wise great manifold. Take your time installing. It paysoff in the end. You won't have to spend hours checking for small air leaks.

Q: im using this manifold with 5/16 tubing approx 225' per loop. my question is which flow meters should i use. i see there are two different ones. idont know if i need the high flow or the low flow. thank you

Q: to activate the top isolation valve do I turn the black cap in or out? As the bottom supply manifold is hot but return manifold and lines are cold.

Counterclockwise. Be sure you follow the directions for filling the system prior too heating water.

Counter clockwise opens the flow control. Depending on your water temp. the lines might take quite a while to return with any heat in them. The return water will only be the temp of your floor.

You have to purchase the inlet fitting separate. They come in 3/4" and 1". 3/4" sweat is most common with this manifold.

Q: How does the balancing valve work? By recirculating some of the returning hat water?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThe balancing valves ensure that the system is getting an even flow. The heat wants to move towards the closest cold, so it really only wants to travel through the first loops. The balancing valve helps even out that resistance to create an even heat throughout the system.
