North Dakota Winters are cold and harsh and heating the house pulls the moisture out and this was a lifesaver! Easy to install, easy ductwork, easy plumbing, easy wiring! If you are a handyman around your house you'll have no problem with instructions.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouseHi Collin! The Aprilaire 4223 Drain Spud is the plastic fitting that attaches to the base of the housing of your humidifier. It is designed to connect to a 1/2" I.D. drain hose.

Q: Does the product come with a water filter panel? My house is 1680 sq. ft., would a 500M humidifer work?

Verified Reply- Jack, The Model 600 and 600M Aprilaire can be installed on either the supply or return plenum of a forced air handling system and is easily reversible for installation with right hand or left hand bypass duct connections.
